Ministry and Volunteer Opportunities at RCC

Food Pantry

Thanks to the generosity and volunteer hours of our RCC families and local businesses and organizations, our RCC Cedar Street Food Pantry meets a real need in our town. We serve approximately 30 families per week! Many people want to know how they can help. Volunteering is great! Many hands make light work in this ministry.  We can always use food stockers and people to help set up and serve our clients.  Contact Erin to get plugged in!

Worship Team

The purpose of the Worship Ministry at RCC is to provide opportunities for the church to collectively praise and worship God through singing, playing instruments, or providing soundboard and technical support. As a singer, the worship team choir is the best way to jump into serving on the worship team.
It is our desire that as we come together in unity, to celebrate God and all He has done for us, people will see God for who He is, and will respond to Him with all of their hearts, and leave with a desire to grow closer to Him.
If you'd like to audition and  volunteer to join our worship team or run the soundboard during our worship services, please let our Worship Leader, Patty Davis, know by clicking on the button below.

Media and Live Stream

Do you like to serve behind the scenes? Our Media and Live Stream Ministry may be for you! Each Sunday we stream and record our services. We have volunteers operate the main camera, audio software, and camera switcher . We also have a media volunteer who runs our in-house slides and lyrics. No experience is necessary to serve in this ministry; we provide all the training you need! If this sounds good to you, let Tara know!

Care Team

Connect with others on a personal level
Anticipate others' needs
Relate to others in whichever circumstances they are in
Encourage each other

The goals of the Care Team are to show Christ's love and respect for others and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We work together to meet the needs of our body of believers by doing such things as providing rides to church, light yard work, simple repairs, providing meals during a challenging time, sending notes of encouragement, etc.  If you are interested in joining the Care Team, please contact us!

Welcome Team

As the Welcome Team, we are the first expression of our church’s heart: a place where it’s safe
to belong, even if it’s before you believe. Our role is to create an atmosphere where every
person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and comfortable; no questions asked,
no expectations placed.
We’re here to build bridges, not barriers. Whether someone is taking their first step toward faith,
returning after years away, or simply searching for community, we greet them with genuine
warmth and acceptance. We understand that belonging often precedes believing, and that
transformation begins when people feel safe enough to stay.
Our smiles and hospitality reflect the transformational Love of Jesus Christ. We’re not just
greeting visitors; we’re opening doors to connected community, thriving relationships, and
transformed lives.

Generational Ministries

Investing in the spiritual development of the next generation is time well spent! As our congregation grows, so does our need for volunteers to serve in our Kingdom Kids and Awana ministries. If this is your calling, please contact Lauren or Kelly!
