Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Small Groups at RCC go by many names and have varied focusses and time durations.
However, they all aim to grow our relationship with Jesus, build connection with each other, and equip us to be a blessing to our world.

WHAT IS ROOTED?
Rooted is our transformative 10-week discipleship program that aims to foster a deep connection with God, the church, and one's purpose.  Whether you're new to faith or a faithful follower, Rooted offers a profound understanding of who God is and how to live as His disciple.
Through the program, we create small groups of around 10 individuals who embark on a journey together exploring the 7 rhythms of Rooted. These rhythms include daily devotion, prayer, repentance, sacrificial generosity, service, sharing personal stories, and worship. It's an incredible opportunity to build meaningful relationships with fellow followers of Jesus.  We launch two rounds of Rooted Groups each year; in the fall and spring.  Click below for information on what's happening currently.
At Redmond Community Church we believe that life is experienced as we engage with one another and with God.  As such, it is at the heart of RCC to be a church made up of small  (connected) groups, and not just a church with small groups.   We call them here at RCC Engage Groups.  Engage groups are a place for you to develop meaningful relationships, discover the power of community, and develop a deeper experience with God. It is through identity, purpose and connection that life transformation happens.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
When: Tuesdays at 5:30 PM (when in session)
Where: The House (Conference Room)
