What Do You Really Want?

Pastor Tom begins a new sermon series today. It's called "Engaging with the Masters Questions."

We don’t know if Jesus was aware of Socrates—who had lived some three centuries prior—or not. But Jesus was certainly a master of what is now known as the Socratic method of teaching. That is, he constantly asked questions of his students and hearers; probing questions, personal questions, provocative questions designed to get us to think. Questions are important because they open conversations, and get us to consider things we might rather ignore. And no one was better at questions than Jesus. Join us for 8 exciting weeks as we Engage With the Master’s Questions being challenged and going deeper with Jesus considering some of his important questions found in the gospels.
