Lauren Shields Bio

Lauren has called Central Oregon home since 2000, and feels blessed to be a homeschool mama raising her kids here with her husband Jeremy. As a family they love spending time traveling, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and generally just making memories together! Growing up, Lauren always dreamed of being a teacher but was counseled to get a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, which she completed at OSU in 2009. Now, getting to homeschool Jackson and Sophia and serving in children’s ministry, Lauren knows God has called her back to her original dream. The opportunity to serve and do life with the RCC family is such a privilege and a blessing, one which Lauren is excited to see God use to His glory and for her growth. Above all, she hopes that the light and love of Jesus is poured out in everything that she does.
