At the center of the worship ministry at RCC is a desire to connect with our Heavenly Father through music. Singing was and still is a vital way to express our love, adoration, praise, thanksgiving and prayers to God. Worship is an outward expression of what is happening inside each of us. When we gather collectively each Sunday, it is an opportunity to pour our hearts out to Him together and individually. There is a wonderful exchange that happens when we gather to worship. As we lift Him up, He draws us closer to Himself.
The Apostle Paul instructed the Colossians, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Col. 3: 16-17)
