RCC Cedar Street Food Pantry FAQ's
Welcome to our Food Pantry! We are happy to help! Read below for some answers to questions you may have.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are located at Redmond Community Church at 237 NW 9th Street, Redmond, OR. The Food Pantry entrance is on Cedar Street between 9th and 10th St. Please do not use the main church entrance. Our hours of operation are Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm.
Can we come in early?
Our Food Pantry is first come, first served. The door opens at 12:50pm. If you wish to line up, please dress according to the weather. We do not open the doors early.
What if I can't come during the hours of operation?
You may call our office at 541-923-3023 and we will put together a box of food for you to pick up anytime during our office hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm.)
How often can I come?
Each family may come twice per month.
Do you check my income?
No. We will never ask how much income you have.
Is there fresh produce and meat?
Yes! Thanks to several local businesses and private donors, we provide meat and produce.
Can I choose the food I receive?
Yes! For those clients who walk in to our food pantry, we provide a shopping experience. You make choices from our offerings. You don't have to take what you don't want or can't use.
What if I can't get out of my car?
Just call our office (541-923-3023) when you get here, and we'll put together a box and bring it out to you!
Will I get preached at?
Nope! But please know that we provide this service out of love for you that flows from our Heavenly Father.
